Quiet us, Loving God. In silence we are able to just be – not proving ourselves, not hoping to be noticed, not worried about getting our fair share. In the midst of the noise and distractions of living, we bring ourselves alone to dwell in your peace and we, for a moment, can imagine that all things are possible in you. Bring us back to this place again soon. Let us not go too long without reminding us of our need of the knowledge and sense of your lovingkindness. Quiet us, Holy One. Amen.
