The swirling leaves bring wonder to our rich multi-colored autumn in the Northeast while our brothers and sisters in Florida are awash in wind and swirling rain. Amid the beauty of your creation, God of Awe, we lift up to your loving care, those of your children who are in Michael’s path. May your abiding presence and the kindness of strangers be their strength. May we be your hands and heart in providing them the care they will need when the swirling ends and the water subsides. May we see you in each other one and treasure them as we treasure You. In your most holy name we pray. Amen.
