During this season of hope, peace, joy and love, slow us down, Almighty God. Let us be mindful of the simple moments of kindness and beauty. Nothing flashy or over-the-top just the acts that come naturally – slowing down to let another cross the street, cookies shared by a neighbor, a call just to check on how we’re doing. May these small signs of lovingkindness find their way into our days – both receiving them with grace and offering them with respect. We pray this in your most holy name. Amen.
