Creator God, today we lift up this planet that continues to spin even while the human inhabitants are feeling unmoored and confused. We give thanks for the beauty of flowers that add color to our days, birds whose songs awaken us, air that sustains us and water that both rains down on us and flows with abandon on so much of this earth. On this day of appreciation may we look from our windows with gratitude and step gently on the firmament that anchors us to you and all that you have surrounded us with. With gratitude and awe, we offer our praise. In your most holy name, we pray. Amen.
