Midweek Prayer

So much of our lives are spent in the balancing act of independence and community, Loving God. Be with us and our nation as we continue to face our history and the lived experience of so many of our black and brown siblings when it comes to racism.  We are beings who were created with the capacity to change and grow.  Holy One, enter our hearts and minds so that we will work with our actions and words to create a land that represents the Great Commandment to love you with all our hearts and minds and souls and to love our neighbors – everyone of our neighbors- as ourselves. In your sacred name we pray. Amen.
