Midweek Prayer

Enough – O, God, how much is enough?  So often we think in terms of having enough money, enough food, enough house and we’re left yearning for more.  Just for today, may we be enough for others – enough of a listening ear and caring heart, enough of a voice to speak up against injustice, enough of a pray-er for the healing of your world.  May your presence in our lives be enough for this day and then may we take our rest knowing that we get to be enough again tomorrow.  In your holy name, we pray.  Amen.
