Our lives, livelihoods, homes and almost every other aspect of our existence have been affected by a pandemic that we are all a part of, Loving God. We have lost over 200,000 souls in our nation alone. In the midst of this hard news piled on top of fires and hurricanes, economic woes, divisions between people and challenges beyond our imagining, we turn to you. When our desire to hide away from all of the world’s pain consumes us, may we breathe in the knowledge that you are with us now and forevermore. As the cool and crisp weather moves in, we look to your powerful and abiding love as the blanket we can wrap around the hurt and struggle, knowing that with you all things are possible. We pray this in your ever-present name, O God.
