Oh Holy One, we move toward All Saints’ Day with gratitude for all those who have gone before us having lived lives of devotion to your teachings by their acts of selflessness and generosity. Some were known by many and countless others’ contributions to your world were modest and humble examples of how to love you and neighbors with determination and reverence. There are still others who walk in our midst now. For all of these, we raise this prayer of thanksgiving. May your mercy and grace continue to be felt in our lives this day and all of our days. Amen.
