Epiphany has arrived and we recall the story of the wise ones, who after finding Jesus, followed the revelation of a dream and went home by another way. Almighty One, what dreams are worth changing the course of our lives for? Could they be dreams for peace that could begin with simple acts of forgiveness? How about dreams of justice that might have us focus our time, talent and treasure on a better way? May we lean into those dreams you have for all of your children – that the last shall be first and that love of neighbor would prevail. Let this be the year we embrace those dreams and follow them to you, our home. In your holy name, we pray. Amen.
