- The youngest of humans have so much to teach us, Creator God. When they hear music they dance with abandon or sing along, sometimes with the actual lyrics. They are filled with awe at fireflies and bubbles. There are those who find joy in spitting out watermelon seeds and running through sprinklers. They freely share their audible oohs and ahs at fireworks. Some can’t wait to get another library book while still others generously break their popsicle in half to share. Be with us, Holy One, as we experience what’s left of summer with wonder. In your awe-filled name, we pray. Amen.
