We gather this Thanksgiving around tables large and small, God of Glory. This is a time when thank you takes on added meaning. It is not just the polite thing to say when handed a gift but rather an attitude that has the power to change how we look at the world. May we be givers rather than takers, sharers rather than keepers. Let generosity conquer our fear of not having enough. We look to you, Great Giver of Life, with hearts and minds filled to the brim with thank you for this life and all that it brings. We pray this in your most holy name. Amen.
