Midweek prayer

Spring is surprising us each day with vibrant colors, lush grass, noisy birds, and aromatic trees that awaken our senses. During this time of so much new life, may we also be struck by the needs of our neighbors near and far. Awaken us to those who lack the basics we take for granted, Loving God. Empower us not only to notice but to respond with generosity.  You grace us with abundance each day, Holy One. Let us share that abundance.  In your most holy name, we pray. Amen.
