Holy One, while summer’s temperatures climb, grant us a measure of compassion and a dose of patience. May we find the caring response to those who are suffering most – the most vulnerable among us. We also lift up the future of our land, sea, and air as they, too, are struggling. In our care for your creation – all of creation – we are offering love in the same way you love each of us, Gracious God. Bless us this day and all of our days. Amen.
