In this part of your world, Loving God, the weather is not what we expect for this time of year. So often in life we are discombobulated by the unexpected. Maybe we’ve forgotten the joy of surprises. And yet, you are full of surprises, Holy One. May we see the surprise of a rainbow or a shorter meeting than expected or even found change when doing laundry as a gift.
