Midweek Prayer

The world’s attention is constantly being pulled in one direction and another. There are multiple wars happening and the threat of even more of them. An earthquake that has destroyed buildings and taken lives in two countries. Whole families and communities reeling from gun violence. Let us breathe in your grace and mercy, Holy of Holies, and breathe out compassion to take whatever small acts we can. Let us not throw up our hands in frustration but instead open our hearts to respond in love. Amen.
