Midweek Prayer

As we make our way toward Holy Week and Easter, Almighty One, give us reason to pause. Pause to pray. Pause to consider all that took place that week. Pause to consider our part in the story. Pause to sit with the story and what it tells us about you in the world and beyond it. May this be the year of new ways of looking at and experiencing the tragedy and glory of those days then and these days. We pray this in your holiest of names. Amen.
