When we need reminding of our interconnectedness as one people, all your children, Holy One, we don’t have to look far. This week wildfires from another country are affecting the air we share. Decisions made by leaders impact everyone. Wars half a world away involve we your people who may have trouble finding the embattled nation on a map. And above us all are what we call the heavens – the place of stars and planets and moons and the sun that warms every part of your creation. Let us live, Gracious God, into the woven together nature of our existence with compassion and mercy. We pray this in your loving name. Amen.
