Midweek Prayer

In our part of your creation, Loving God, the sap is running and those dedicated to bringing it to your people will put in many hours and much devotion, starting with so much liquid and, with patience, it will be sugared down to sweet goodness.  Could it be that we too start with so much and ultimately the most important part of who we are, the loving part, takes time and perseverance to be able to pass onto our sisters and brothers?  Be with us through the process of the living of our days and abide in us through the work of unearthing the delight that is at our core – the self that is made in your sweet image, Almighty One.  Amen.
