The lilacs are on the verge of being in full bloom, high school and college students are marking graduations in creative ways, and your people, loving God, continue the business of living together apart. So much has changed in the world and yet we know your grace and mercy and love are our constants, that which we lean on during the celebrations and disappointments, the joys and the sorrows, the surprises and the shocks. May the strength that comes with this knowledge continue to point us in the direction of lovingkindness for all of your creation, Almighty God. We pray this with our words and our actions. Amen.
