What does peace look like, Almighty God? Everyday we hear of violence and upheaval and life lived on the edge.  Our screens are filled with images of another death by gunfire or another person’s dignity attacked and we cry, “When will it end?”  May we be peacemakers with our words.  Make us peacemakers through the individuals and organizations that we support. Let us start each day in connection with you, Holy One, allowing that your abiding love and mercy for us will be our best lesson in making lasting peace. Amen.
