Ground us in this moment, Holy One. Rather than churning the past over and over again or worrying about a future that is yet to come, make us mindful of the breath coming in and going out. Whatever is in our line of vision or within earshot can be where we direct our attention. Then fill us with thanksgiving for the scent of spring flowers, the glimpse of the bird flitting from branch to branch, and the bark of walked dogs. Here and now you are with us, always and forever. Accept our praise and thanksgiving, God. Amen.
