Midweek prayer

In this season of graduations, we recognize transitions and movement, Holy One. For some it is about moving from one level of school to another while some of your children will now venture into the world to hopefully put their energies into work that uses their gifts and offers them the opportunity to partner together with others in making your world a better place.  Loving God, be with them all in this time of celebration and perhaps just a bit of anxiety about what’s next.  Grant them the wisdom to know that learning is a lifelong adventure. May your continually unfolding creation be a source of wonder and cause for thanksgiving – not just for graduates but for all of us.  In your sacred name, we pray.  Amen.
