Midweek Prayer

Holy One, some days can feel as if we’re pulled in a thousand different directions. There are family responsibilities and work obligations and the need to stay involved in our communities and church and to stay engaged in what is happening in the news locally, nationally, and around the world. Where are we in the midst of so much that tugs at our hearts and fills our brains to overflowing? But then there is you, Loving God. Walking through it all with us, never abandoning us even when it all feels like a hot mess. May we continue to hold on to you for dear life in the midst of all that seeks our attention and never lose the sense of your presence, especially during the hard times. We pray this in your sacred name. Amen.
