At the Federated Church of East Arlington you can:
- Adventures in Reading – You are never too young or too old to read!
Participants in Adventures in Reading meet at Bailey Hall at scheduled times from September through May for a potluck lunch and book discussion. Each person tells about a book that she has read and whether she would recommend that book. The 2023-2024 list consists of 4 categories: Spiritual, Nonfiction, Fiction, and Banned Books.
We suggest that participants read at least one book from each group.
A list of books that have been read is due by May 15, along with recommended books for the following year. A celebration lunch is planned for July. Contact Phyllis Warren if you are interested in joining.. - Sunday School takes place during Worship
Sunday School takes place each week during the church service and is geared toward elementary age students, but we currently serve children ages 3-11. (The goal is eventually to have the nursery running for children aged 0-4).
We are currently using the 252 Kids ministry curriculum from Orange. It is a values-focused curriculum that focuses on a particular value and memory verse each month.
- Federated Church Youth Group – We invite children 5th-12th grade to join us twice a month for Youth Group. Fun,games, and social time!!
